Austempered Ductile Iron (shortened as ADI)is a new kind of cast-iron developed in recent forty years. ADI transforms substrate organization of finest ductile iron by austempered thermal treatment, so that its strength can be in same level of heat-treated steels. It holds the following advantages: high intensity, strong tenacity and wear ability, low noise, good fatigue, light weight, fracture toughness property, and low cost, etc, which can be applied in such industries as automobiles, railways, agricultural machineries, metallurgy and architecture, and wind power equipments.
Carbidic Austempered Ductile Iron (shortened as CADI) is added some carbide to form elements under the composition of ADI, so that a certain amount of carbide can be formed under the basis of ADI organization. By comparing with common ADI, CADI has superior wear prevention, which can reach the performance of high-alloy anti-wear steel, however whose mold toughness is better than high-alloy anti-wear steel , so which can meet the requirements for such anti-wear parts used in mines and agricultural machineries.
To manufacture this kind high-technology product, six advanced austempered thermal treatment production lines-UBQA are introduced from USA by our company. The equipment is in advanced world standards in the domain of salt-melted quencher furnaces. The operating temperature of austempered system is from 790℃ to 930℃, the highest operating temperature can reach 980℃. Patented cooling technology is adopted in quenching tank, so that the depth of quenching of workpiece can reach more than 152mm. The maximum processing capacity can reach 2.73T. The specification of effective workpiece is 914×1828×1422 (unit: mm)

带碳化物的等温淬火球墨铸铁(Carbidic Austempered Ductile lron,简称CADI)是在ADI成分基础之上添加一些碳化物形成元素,使之在ADI组织基础上形成一定的碳化物。其抗磨性能比一般ADI高,达到高合金抗磨铸铁的性能,而塑韧性又比高合金抗磨铸铁好,很适合矿山、农业机械等抗磨零件的性能要求。
为生产这种高科技产品,本公司从美国引进6条世界上最先进的等温淬火热处理生产——UBQA。该设备在盐熔淬火炉领域处于世界先进水平。奥氏体等温淬火系统的操作温度为790~930℃,最高操作温度为980℃。淬火槽采用专利冷却技术,使工件淬火深度达到152mm以上。每炉处理量最高可达到2.73吨。有效工件尺寸为914×1828×1422(单位:mm)
